Local showjumper Hannah Goodby has recently returned to the Island after competing in the Blue Chip National Showjumping Championships at Solihull Arena, in the Midlands.
With her top horse Montys Star, Hannah has qualified to jump at these championships for the past eight years. In this year's event she managed to make two jump-offs and gain a very credible ninth spot in a hotly-contested national grade B and C competition on the final day.
Hannah's trips to the UK are completely self-funded and she is now busy coaching young riders and schooling clients' horses in order to afford her next trip later on in the summer.
